Free Web-Based Service Provides Volume Insertion Advertising Benefiting Ad Buyers and Media Outlets

Los Angeles, CA--September 10, 2002--MediaBuys.us, an online service application providing more affordable ad space for buyers and an expanded client/revenue base for media sources by bringing both parties together on one website, has been formed by entertainment ad agency Chick, Inc.
Offering free client membership and media listings, MediaBuys can deliver substantial discounts on ad purchases for buying members based on volume insertions. Conversely, media sources will generate additional revenue from a significant increase in ads sold through the application. With B2B advertising sales down 20.8% for the first half of 2002 (source: CMR/TNS Reports), the application is timely for a soft media market.
Discounts offered by media sources and/or MediaBuys are based on the number of members submitting insertion orders for a single issue. Discounts are not a requirement for media membership, but give the buyer much more incentive for purchasing.
MediaBuys keeps track of up-to-date media pricing and current events to assure its members the optimum publication, directory, website, newsletter and direct mail buys available. MediaBuys also helps busy media buying executives organize budgets.
