Mediabuys.us Sells to Private Investors, Adds $100M Media Base

November 01, 2003 - Los Angeles, CA -- MediaBuys.us, the online media buying service originally created by Los Angeles ad agency Chick, Inc. was sold to private investors for an undisclosed amount today. The new group has formed a corporation, MediaBuys, LLC and is planning to place a pre-purchased media space reserve of over $100,000,000 into a newer, more defined version of the previous system. The orginal creator of the popular online aplication, Chick Ciccarelli has stayed on as a member of the management team.

The new group is expected to expand the media base from Trade Magazines to Cable and Spot Television, Regional & National Radio, Consumer Magazines, Regional & National Newspapers and Out-Of-Home. Ciccarelli will head the development of the new members area and online programming.
